- Study Plan- I will send out a template for this. Study Plan is a letter from you detailing why you want to study in Canada and why this program (how will it add to your career progression to date). In this letter you can talk about what you have been involved with in your life so far and what you want to do in the future, and how this diploma will be a catalyst for the next step in your career. The letter needs to be written with the upfront acknowledgement that you are not staying in Canada permanently and that you are going home to your job, and that this diploma is something that is going to help you out in your career in your home country. This is the stance that needs to be taken because you are applying for a temporary visa, and the primary concern of the visa officer that issues any temporary visa is to ensure that the candidate is most probably going to return home.
